Foam is expensive. So much that’s it is the majority of the production cost for the sofa, so replacements cost almost as much as the couch. If yours are just kinda limp, you can try removing the covers and wrapping them with some thick batting before putting them back in. Or adding a layer of Nufoam. 1.

My mom's is well over 10 years old now. I had to buy a new couch earlier this year and I found it was discontinued. The Halland or whatever replaced it is nowhere near as good!

I used a staple gun to hold the fabric under. The downside is the slip cover is now permanent, but we hardly needed to remove it before.
