Aug 23, 2021 · DO NOT USE THE ZOTAC MSI AFTERBURNER RIP OFF PROGRAM. USE THE ACTUAL MSI AFTERBURNER. Once that's done, set the fan curve aggressively. I have a Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White Edition. This is what I had to do. Stock out of the box, this card doesn't perform as well as it should. The stock fan curve is garbage.

Jul 17, 2021 · Zotac is definitely not MSI or Asus, but it's not like that changes the PCB all that much. The card will get you similar performance to the most blinged out Asus Rog Strix. A 3070 is a 3070 man, is what I'm trying to say. My 3070/5600x combo (same as you) does everything I want it to. 3070TI is an overpriced joke compared to the 3070.

Dec 26, 2020 · I considered chasing a 3070 as the extra 100 or so mightve been worth it but from what Im reading it does feel like a 3060ti is just a downtuned but unlocked 3070. OP definitely give your CPU the same treatment. Luckily 1usmus has made both OC and undervolting a simple process with CTR. Should see nice gains.

I shut the miner off and switch back to default clocks. Then I enjoy my video card.

Mar 23, 2023 · Agree that this zotac has a mediocre cooling. But, the card itself underneath is solid and well built. I run this zotac 3070 twin edge under custom water cooling loop with 275w asus bios and no issues. Gets upto 2100mhz/16gbps no prob.

Feb 17, 2021 · Hi zotac. Recently I bought rtx 3070 amp holo black and it was a nice looking card. Does this card run always at 83c most in games? I have good airflow casing. I did try some undervolting but it doesn't help. I have firestorm installed too and set custom fan curve, and it does not help lower the temperature.

I read somewhere on reddit to use one cable for each 8 pin slot, instead of daisy chaining it as it’ll fuck it up in terms of drawing power. So i have two different 6+2 ports in my psu used up that are plugging in to one of the 8 pin ports into the gpu.
