The U.S. worlds team was chosen during the U.S. national championships in Wichita over the weekend, and skaters are starting to put together their resume for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics next February.

Ilia Malinin topped the Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships men's short program by the largest margin in history.

When he could have easily won a third straight U.S. title Sunday with a safely watered-down program, Malinin instead rolled out the same one he used in the Grand Prix Final, packed with the same unprecedented jumping difficulty.
