The Vancouver Canucks announced they have come to a multi-year agreement with the Seattle Kraken to partake in a two-game prospect showcase starting in September 2025.

Despite taking a 4–3 victory against the Seattle Kraken in a shootout, the Vancouver Canucks suffered a loss in their first game of 2025. Thatcher Demko started in net for the Canucks, putting up 11 saves on 12 shots against,

The big focus for Vancouver in this game will be getting shots on net. Against the Calgary Flames, the Canucks managed 24 total shots, with Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller and Jake DeBrusk combining for 13. Vancouver's depth needs to step up in the offensive zone, especially as Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson remain out of the lineup.

The game at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C., begins at 1 p.m. PT. That game will be on KING 5 and KONG. KONG is available for streaming through Fubo, in addition to antenna, cable and satellite. The game will also be broadcast across the Kraken Hockey Network. Pregame coverage begins at 12:30 p.m.
