Viewers are in for a ride when "The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: The Final Chapter" returns for its third and final season in January. The Investigation Discovery series follows Natalia Grace, a Ukrainian orphan with a rare dwarfism condition, as she "is forced to navigate a number of seemingly insurmountable challenges," per a press release.

The series follows the Barnett family, who initially adopted what they assumed to be a 6-year-old Ukrainian orphan with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, a rare bone growth disorder.

In three seasons, "The Curious Case of Natalia Grace" has examined Natalia's troubling and traumatic life story, bouncing from foster homes to many different adoptive parents after coming to the U.S.
