Chicago is ending the year with rain and snow showers. Tuesday starts with chilly morning rain as a system passes to the south of Chicago. Some snow may mix to the northwest, but rain will be the main feature.

Tuesday will have steady temperatures in the mid to upper 30s with gusty northern winds. Rain is expected to last through the morning and then taper off from northwest to southeast during the afternoon and evening. Wet snow may mix in at times on Tuesday.
