A Seattle man is facing misdemeanor assault charges after shoving two child referees at his son's hockey game Sunday, officials said.

Police are investigating after an incident was caught on video of a parent pushing two teenage referees to the ice during a youth hockey game at the Kraken Ice Complex.

The Seattle Police Department and the Pacific Northwest Amateur Hockey Association are actively investigating the incident.

A father will likely face assault charges after he shoved two youth hockey referees, according to an SPD report.

The father stood roughly 6′2 tall and weighed nearly 250 pounds, which is larger than both of the youth referees combined.
