Thursday, the Pulse Memorial advisory committee took a pivotal step towards honoring the legacy of the 49 lives lost and the resilience of survivors in the wake of the Pulse nightclub tragedy.
The permanent memorial will be built where the former nightclub currently stands and is set to be finished by late 2027.
“The Pulse connection really was not planned ... that is respectful but also meaningful. The audience is never taken inside the nightclub but feel the aftereffects of the shootings.
