Sophie Devine will be missing the WPL 2025 season for Royal Challengers Bengaluru after the all-rounder decided to take a break. Devine played a big role in RCB's title-winning campaign last year.

In addition to being unavailable for WPL 2025, the 35-year-old will also be absent for the remainder of the current Super Smash season for Wellington.

She will also miss the remainder of the Super Smash; a decision on her playing future "will be announced in due course"

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will miss the services of Sophie Devine in WPL 2025 as the New Zealander chose to prioritise her mental well-being over cricket.

Devine has been competing in the ongoing Super Smash for Wellington, scoring 38 runs and claiming eight wickets in five matches. In her most recent game against Canterbury in Christchurch, she delivered a match-winning performance with figures of 5 for 13.
