As of Sunday morning, there is a 70% chance of development for a broad area of low pressure in the western Caribbean Sea that has been producing showers and storms over portions of Central America. Gradual development is expected and it could become a tropical depression by the middle or end of this week.

Area of low pressure-system will develop in the Western Caribbean Sea or the Gulf of Mexico by early next week. All models are showing a tropical system developing then moving north to northwest.
