Design lovers rejoice! There's a new design book out and we're swooning. Defining Style: The Book of Interior Design by Joan Barzilay Freund (Phaidon) offers up a gorgeous tour through 25 of the most notable design styles around the world.

It can make a room look and feel spacious as well as impressive. But unless you know how to decorate a room with a high ceiling, the grandeur of the space can be lost, and it might even end up looking empty and unwelcoming.

"We're always scheming new and fresh ways to utilize tile in our designs,” says interior designer Erin Sander. “One trend we are looking to in 2025 is placing micro-pattern tiles wall-to-wall, providing depth and texture.”

Brown Furniture The revival of “brown furniture” marks an exciting shift in interior design. As English and American antiques re-emerge from a period of being unfashionable, they’re finding new life among those seeking to add authenticity and historical depth to contemporary spaces. – Alfredo Paredes
