Air India has refunded the airfare to Anip Patel, an India-origin CEO, after he posted a viral video highlighting issues in the first class cabin during his Chicago-Delhi flight. Patel noted problems such as lack of WiFi and non-functional in-flight entertainment.

In the video, Mr Patel gave viewers a tour of the subpar amenities, highlighting issues such as loose compartment parts, and torn and damaged surfaces.

The Indian American businessman had taken a non-stop flight from New Delhi to Chicago and described it as his “worst” flying experience.

An Indian American passenger slammed Air India for its services and dubbed his flight experience the "worst." In a post on social media platform Instagram, CEO of CaPatel Investments Anip Patel lashed out at Air India and said it was a "nightmare" flying from Chicago to Delhi non-stop.
