The Vegas Golden Knights are gearing up for another Stanley Cup run, but could move on from this veteran forward before that.

Tanner Pearson has become the perfect placeholder for the Golden Knights’ top line. The Knights have cycled through options at first-line left wing since Ivan Barbashev suffered an upper-body injury Dec.

Pearson has three goals and four helpers over his last seven contests. He's been in a bottom-six role for much of the season, but he's received a huge boost by playing alongside Jack Eichel and Mark Stone over the last two contests.
