Wisconsin Humane Society and local authorities have removed 73 cats from a single household in Ozaukee County. The organization expects to find more as workers continue to search the property, according to a Jan.

Dozens of cats are safe and sound tonight at the Ozaukee County campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society.78 cats were originally found in a Town of Grafton home. Five died.

Since then a total of 73 cats have been brought in, many showing skin issues, wounds, upper respiratory infections, and malnourishment. Representatives from the Humane Society are still setting traps to catch any additional animals, according to a Facebook post.
