Despite outshooting their opponent 39-12, the Vancouver Canucks fell 5-3 to the New York Rangers on Saturday morning. Dakota Joshua, Drew O'Connor and Brock Boeser scored the goals, while Kevin Lankinen stopped eight of the 11 shots he faced.

New York was outshot 39-12 and outplayed by Vancouver for most of the night, but still somehow came away with a 5-3 victory.

Jonny Brodzinski scored his second goal of the game late in the third period and Igor Shesterkin made 36 saves as the New York Rangers downed the Vancouver Canucks 5-3 on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak.
