After a white Christmas for many, the weather will continue to cooperate as we head into the weekend that is foretelling a warming trend.

Grab that umbrella and give yourself some extra time as you’re headed out the door this morning as our first batch of rain passes through the Midstate during the morning commute. There could be a couple of quick downpours through the morning, but it shouldn’t cause any major travel trouble on our roadways.

This will spread rain into the area later Saturday night and early Sunday morning. The system will track through the area later Sunday. Expect scattered showers most of the day. Temperatures Sunday forecast to be around 60 degrees during the afternoon. A south wind will gust to around 30 mph at times.
