It's a new day in NXT as both Oba Femi & Giulia captured the brand's ultimate prizes Tuesday night at New Year's Evil.

The Rock made a special appearance at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil. “The Final Boss” stayed in town after appearing at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere in Los Angeles, as he went to NXT New Year’s Evil the next day.

The segment concluded with The Rock praising the WWE NXT roster, saying that they’ve been working their asses off. He closed out his promo with his classic “If you smell…… what The Rock is cooking!” catchphrase. This promo was all over the place and had no real direction.

The NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship are up for grabs at NXT: New Year's Evil on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
