The LIV Golf Team Championship gets underway Friday at Maridoe Golf Club outside of Dallas with 10 teams competing in the match play quarterfinals. Three teams, Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC, Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII and Cameron Smith’s Ripper GC, have quarterfinal byes and automatically advance to Saturday’s semifinals.

The top three seeded teams receive a first-round bye. Awaiting Friday’s winners will be No. 1 Crushers GC captained by SMU’s Bryson DeChambeau, No. 2 Legion XIII led by Jon Rahm and No. 3 Ripper GC captained by Cameron Smith.

Despite his strong play throughout the year, Rahm and his Legion XIII teammates are looking up at Bryson DeChambeau and his Crushers, who serve as LIV Golf defending champions.
