Ehire Adrianza always seemed like he had a future in coaching. He served as an unofficial acting manager for the Twins’ regular-season finale in 2019 and took online college courses afterward with the idea it would help him work in a front office.

Former Minnesota Twins infielder Ehire Adrianza has called it a career after 12 MLB seasons. Adrianza played for Minnesota from 2017 to 2020, one of five teams he has played for since entering the league in 2013.

It was less than two weeks ago that Ehire Adrianza announced his retirement as a player but it seems he has already lined up a new job. Per Daniel Álvarez-Montes of El Extrabase, Adrianza is will be joining the Twins’ front office as assistant of player development, working with infielders throughout all levels of the organization.
