The best place to kickback and relax. Enjoy the views from various places. If you park on the street it is paid parking. Only $4 for 2 hrs. They do pave free parking in several lots.Full review by TravelingBum52

We were on a tour and stopped here for some fun window (and other) shopping plus lunch. There are many shops along both sides of the street to peruse and enjoy. Plenty of options for lunch as well.Full review by Palomino922

We were heading to Palm Springs from Phoenix and drove thru Sedona. It’s a great little Main Street with lots of free parking (mostly just off the Main Street), tourist-related shopping, restaurants …Full review by BigMerk
I'm disabled, not in a wheelchair, but I can't do hiking or long walks, is there anything we can do besides hiking?

And absolutely! The most fun and exciting thing we did on the trip was renting a Jeep and four wheeling in the backcountry. While if you are disabled I would not suggest running your own Jeep there are many Jeep tours where you can just sit in the Jeep and be driven around. It's a great alternative to hiking as my husband is slightly physically challenged and can't really hike either. That was our compromise and it was the best thing we did! You can also drive over the mountain to Flagstaff and take a train to the Grand Canyon. While we chose to drive ourselves to the Grand Canyon I have a friend who's done the train ride and thought it was really nice. Another great way to see Back Country scenery that you normally don't have access to
We have one day- which hotel is best to stay at if we wanted to get hiking and shopping done in one day? Is that possible? Thanks!

Sedona and the nearby Village of Oak Creek are both small so hiking and shopping can be done in one day. Beware, the scenery is so beautiful, you'll want more time no matter what you do! There are many, many hikes, with trails for every fitness level. A few of our favorites are Brins Mesa, Soldiers Pass and Bell Rock. If you have time, do a Jeep Tour (We like Pink Jeep) on Broken Arrow for some great 4-wheeling and spectacular views. The hotels will have free hiking trail maps, or you can google Sedona Hikes or see TripAdvisor things to do. Use TripAdvisor to find a hotel or B&B that fits your budget and you'll be fine getting to wherever you decide to go. We like L'Augerge de Sedona for a splurge and incredible customer service - hiking on property creekside, and a walk up the hill to Main Street for shopping and restaurants. Briar Patch Inn is a terrific Bed & Breakfast right on the creek. The Adobe Grand is spendy but super romantic. Don't miss the shopping and galleries at Tlaquepaque outdoor market - easy to find, but not on Main Street. Enchantment Resort is further away from Main Street but the views, hiking and spa are beautiful. Check out the Best Western Plus Inn of Sedona for a nice stay and a great value. Have a fantastic trip! The Sedona area is truly one of the most beautiful, jaw-dropping places on earth.

Lots of things to do, depending on your interests. Hiking is a major activity, of course. Pink Jeep tours are really fun. Great golf courses. There are tours to the Grand Canyon. Rock Climbing. Spas. Wine tasting is near by. Rent and go four wheeling on ATVs. Helicopter rides. Hot air ballooning. WOW - so may choices and each with their our price ranges. Have a fun time!
We will spend 1 day in Sedona after visiting the grand canyon - any advise on where we should stay w/interesting sight seeing.

We stayed in Peoria and drove over for the day. So I can't be of much help. If you're only going to be there one day, you can stay just about anywhere in that vicinity and drive into town.
