Stitching the great outdoors: Landscape textile art

She instead works on dark felt loaded onto a scroll frame. As pieces are completed, she rolls to a new section and starts another.

WEBHow it all started. TextileArtist was born in 2013 when brothers Joe and Sam Pitcher witnessed something remarkable: their mum, Sue Stone, rediscovering her passion for textile art in her 50s. As a child, Sue had learned to sew from her own mum and loved to make clothes for her dolls. But life, as it often does, got in the way.
